Telangana continues to face cold weather due to an ongoing cold wave. Kohir in Sangareddy district recorded the lowest temperature of 5°C early Monday morning. Fourteen districts reported temperatures below 10°C. No district recorded a minimum temperature above 12.5°C. Following Kohir, Moinabad in Rangareddy had 6.9°C, and Nawabpet in Vikarabad recorded 7.0°C. In Hyderabad, Maredpally saw 7.2°C, while Uppal in Medchal Malkajgiri reported 9.1°C, said Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS). The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast cold wave conditions at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Sangareddy, Medak, and Kamareddy on Monday. Hyderabad and nearby areas may experience fog or mist in the early morning hours. IMD stated, "Mist/hazy conditions are very likely to prevail during morning or night hours. Minimum temperatures are likely to be below normal by 2°C to 3°C during next 2 days." Residents are advised to stay warm as chilly weather continues across Telangana.
