Navi Mumbai police have busted an illegal recruitment agency promising fake overseas jobs. The crime branch and Vashi police raided Goodwill Global Consultancy on December 27, 2025. The agency operated without authorization from the Ministry of External Affairs. An FIR was registered under section 318 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and relevant provisions of the Emigration Act. The complaint came from an Assistant Section Officer from the Ministry of External Affairs, Mumbai. Investigations showed the accused conducted recruitment without a valid ministry license. Seven persons linked to the firm received notices under the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita. The police continue to probe the case.
