A 25-year-old married woman was allegedly gang-raped in a moving van in Faridabad and later thrown onto the road with serious head injuries, police said on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. The incident took place late on Monday, December 29, 2025. Two men offered her a lift when she was waiting for transport, her sister told the police. The accused, from Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh but currently living in Faridabad, have been arrested. The woman was staying at her parents' home due to marital problems. She had visited a friend's house in Sector 23 on Monday evening. On her way back late at night, the accused offered her a ride. Instead of taking her home, the men drove toward Gurugram and sexually assaulted her inside the van. “The woman was driven around through the night and thrown out of the car near Raja Chowk at around 3 am, leaving her with serious injuries,” a police officer said. The woman called her sister, who reached her and took her to the hospital. Yashpal Yadav, Faridabad police spokesperson, said, “We have nabbed the accused and are questioning them. A test identification parade of the accused will be conducted soon.”
