Andhra Pradesh NDA Government Celebrates 2025 Welfare Wins, Sets Bold 2026 Growth Goals

The Andhra Pradesh NDA government ended 2025 on a high note, blending welfare and fast development. Flagship schemes made a real difference: Talliki Vandanam gave ₹10,090 crore directly to mothers of 67.27 lakh students. The popular Stree Shakti free bus travel for women saw 3.25 crore rides, costing ₹1,144 crore. It later helped persons with disabilities too. Farmers got ₹6,310 crore under PM Kisan-Annadata Sukhibhava. Deepam-2 provided nearly two crore free LPG cylinders costing ₹2,684 crore to women. Social security pensions topped ₹50,000 crore. Help also reached fishermen, auto drivers, minorities, priests, weavers, toddy tappers, goldsmiths, and junior lawyers. Jobs grew with 15,491 teachers and 5,757 police constables recruited. Anganwadi workers and ASHAs got better pay and benefits. Anna Canteens served 4 crore meals through 204 outlets, boosting food security. Andhra Pradesh led India in 2025 investment attraction. The CII-Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam created 610 MoUs worth ₹13.25 lakh crore, promising 16 lakh jobs. IT and AI sectors boomed, including plans for Google's AI Data Centre in Visakhapatnam. Amaravati’s capital construction saw ₹50,000 crore invested. Infrastructure, irrigation, power, healthcare, and reforms lifted growth to 11.28%. Crime dropped thanks to strict laws and the Eagle Task Force vs drugs. Governance improved via WhatsApp and data-driven decisions. The three-region master plan covers Visakhapatnam, Amaravati, and Tirupati. Around 90 central schemes revived, plus support for Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and new semiconductor industries. Two new districts raised the state’s total to 28. Looking ahead to 2026, the government aims to handle revenue issues, secure farmer lands, widen social security, and speed up industry. With solid welfare, record investments, and strong governance, Andhra Pradesh's NDA government marches forward confidently into 2026.
