A 34-year-old man, Vemulapati Surendra, tragically ended his life after allegedly killing his three children in Thodumuldinne village, Nandyal district, late Wednesday night. Surendra, a daily wage worker, was reportedly depressed after his wife Maheswari died by suicide in August last year. He had three children: Kavya (7), Dhyanaeshwari (4), and Surya Gagan (2). Police suspect Surendra gave the children milk mixed with poison before taking his own life. Surendra was also facing financial problems, which added to his distress.
