Saudi Arabia's National Centre for Meteorology (NCM) has issued a warning of a cold wave hitting northern and central regions from Saturday through Tuesday. Regions like Al-Jawf, Northern Borders, Tabuk, Hail, Al-Qassim, Riyadh, and parts of the Eastern Province will face temperatures between 2°C and minus 2°C. Some places may experience below-freezing weather. The NCM said, "The cold wave will bring a marked and noticeable drop in temperatures across the affected regions." Residents and authorities are advised to watch weather updates and take precautions. This cold spell is part of sudden temperature changes occurring across the Kingdom, stressing the need for awareness and preparation during extreme weather.
