Two men gang-raped a 25-year-old woman inside a moving private hospital ambulance, not a van as earlier believed. The accused, one from Mathura and the other from Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, worked as ambulance driver and helper in a private hospital. They have been arrested and sent to judicial custody. The victim is still in hospital six days after the attack. A video has emerged where the woman says, "I did not know them before. As soon as I sat in the car, one of them transferred ₹600 to my PayTM account, and then they locked the car and snatched my mobile. There was dense fog at night. I cried out loud, but there was no help." Police could not verify the video's authenticity. The woman had gone to a friend's house in Sector 23, Faridabad, on the evening of December 29, 2025. Returning home around midnight, she took an auto to NIT 2 Chowk and then walked to Metro Chowk. The two accused offered her a lift there but instead took her toward Gurugram and committed the assault. She was thrown out near Raja Chowk around 3 a.m. on December 30. After hospitalization, police plan an identification parade once she recovers. Further questioning will follow via production warrant from jail.
