Kotikalapudi Krishna Kishore (44) and his wife K. Asha (39), originally from Palakol in West Godavari district, died in a road accident in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, January 4, 2025. Mr. Kishore was a software engineer and had settled in the U.S. a few years ago with his family. The couple was travelling in a car when the accident occurred. Their son and daughter were injured but are reported to be out of danger. The family had recently visited their hometown in West Godavari, according to locals on January 5, 2025. Palakol Town Circle Inspector K. Rajani Kumar stated that Krishna Kishore’s family lived at Pallapuveedhi, near the head post office. Their relatives received the news of the deaths. The incident left the Pallapuveedhi neighborhood in Palakol town in deep sorrow after hearing the tragic news.
