On January 7, 2025, the Counter-Intelligence wing of Jammu and Kashmir Police conducted raids at 22 locations in the Kashmir valley. Among these, 15 raids happened in Srinagar city. This major crackdown targets mule accounts involved in cyber fraud and terror funding. Officials stated these actions are part of investigations in a cyber terror case. The Counter-Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) is tightening the noose on accounts that fuel such illegal activities. Further details are awaited, said the officials.
