The Hindu Group, through its division STEP, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with RV Institute of Technology and Management in Bengaluru. The MoU aims to offer STEP learning programmes to students, focusing on improving their English communication and writing skills. The ceremony was attended by college Principal Nagashettappa Biradar, Vice-Principal Manjunath Prasad, and Placement officer Mallanagouda Patil. Dr. Biradar highlighted the vision 'Go Change the World', stressing the importance of empowering students with strong English abilities. STEP stands for Standardized Test of English Proficiency. It is an English language testing, training, and certification program launched by The Hindu Group. STEP makes high-quality English learning affordable and accessible by using advanced technology and world-class training methods. The program helps students, institutions, and employers improve reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. STEP Train, part of the STEP program, is specially selected by AICTE and MHRD as the only English certification course on the government’s National Education Alliance for Technology (NEAT 2.0) platform. This partnership aims to strengthen English proficiency among students at RV Institute and support their future success.
