Three family members died when a fire broke out in their home in Bhagat Singh Nagar, Goregaon, Mumbai early on Saturday, January 10, 2026. The single-storey house in Rajaram Lane caught fire around 3:06 AM, officials said. The fire started from electric wiring and household items on the ground and first floors. Local residents tried to control the fire with water buckets before firefighters arrived. Firemen cut off the electricity supply on reaching the site. The three occupants—Harshada Pawaskar (19), Kushal Pawaskar (12), and Sanjog Pawaskar (48)—were rushed to Trauma Care Hospital but were declared "brought dead," officials confirmed. The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
