Dubai Airport Teams Up with Salik for Ticketless Parking From 2026
January 13, 2026
Dubai International Airport (DXB) is launching a smart parking upgrade. A new 10-year deal with Salik Company PJSC will let drivers pay for parking using Salik’s e-wallet. This means no more paper tickets or waiting in long payment queues. The system will cover all three passenger terminals and the Cargo Mega Terminal, totaling 7,400 parking spots. Starting January 22, 2026, drivers can use Salik E-Wallet to enter and exit smoothly without stopping at pay booths.
The agreement was signed by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of Salik. They said this move supports Dubai’s vision to be the world’s smartest city. It will reduce traffic jams at terminal exits and cut paper waste, helping the environment.
Salik’s wider mission includes making payments easier in Dubai. Their e-wallet already works with private parkings and places like Dubai Mall, using licence plate scanning for ticketless parking. This airport addition fits into Dubai’s larger push to modernize urban travel and everyday services.
The new system means faster parking exits and less hassle for travelers. As long as the Salik account has balance, parking payment is automatic, removing worries about lost tickets or long waits. This big change promises a smoother, greener travel experience at one of the world’s busiest airports.
