Dubai Municipality has announced the return of the Ramadan Souq in Deira’s historic Grand Souq area. The popular cultural market opens on January 17, 2026, and runs daily until February 15, 2026. It will be set up at Old Municipality Street Square and offer a 25-day celebration of Emirati traditions and community spirit. The Ramadan Souq keeps the feel of authentic Emirati markets. Visitors will find a variety of stalls selling Ramadan essentials, traditional crafts, and seasonal food items at attractive prices. A miniature souq will be near the historic Deira Souq, where local artisans and longtime shopkeepers will sell goods. These include items for Haq Al Laila, a festival celebrated just before Ramadan. The market promises a lively atmosphere with live music, workshops, and family activities. Children’s entertainment and cultural experiences will add to the festive mood. Food stalls will serve local flavors and seasonal treats, making it a complete cultural and shopping festival. The event is more than just a market; it is a vibrant celebration of Ramadan and Emirati customs. It attracts residents, tourists, and heritage lovers alike, blending history with modern fun. Open daily from 10 am to 10 pm, the souq is ideal for all ages. Organisers say the souq supports local businesses by giving them a platform to reach a wide audience. It also complements other Ramadan events around Dubai. The Ramadan Souq showcases Dubai’s rich culture and commitment to community during this special time.
