The winning ticket was sold by Sudeek A., an agent in Kottayam district. The draw was held on Saturday. This year, the Christmas-New Year Bumper Lottery saw a record ticket sale of 54.08 lakh, up from 47.65 lakh tickets last year. Palakkad district alone sold 13.09 lakh tickets. The second prize of ₹1 crore each was awarded to 20 winners. The department shared these details after the draw.
