Free Mega Medical Camp Serves Rural Areas With Specialist Care and Medicine
January 25, 2026
A free mega medical camp was held on Sunday at the Zilla Parishad High School in C.K. Palli mandal headquarters. It was organised by the Sri Sathya Sai District Police along with KIMS Savera Hospital. Residents from Ramagiri, Kanaganapalli, and CK Palli mandals came in large numbers to get specialised healthcare.
Superintendent of Police S. Satish Kumar opened the camp and made sure all arrangements were smooth. He ensured food, drinking water, and shaded areas were available for attendees.
Doctors checked and consulted patients for heart issues, bone problems, diabetes, blood pressure, thyroid disorders, ECG, eye, and dental problems. Free medicines were given. High-cost tests like ECG were also free.
SP Satish Kumar said the camp aims to help rural and poor people. Many find it hard to travel to cities like Anantapur, Bengaluru, Vellore, Chennai, and Hyderabad for medical care. He added that the camp also identifies patients needing advanced treatment including surgeries, which will be arranged locally.
