Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will open the new Aero Park at Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) on February 9. The park covers 36 acres and will host aviation companies, aircraft hangars, parking areas, training centres, and technical support units. On launch day, six projects worth ₹101 crore will start under Phase I. CIAL Managing Director S. Suhas said, “The first phase comprises the CIASL Business Centre, a premium co-working space; technical services facility; and Aviation Breathing Apparatus Training Gallery.” The CIASL Business Centre alone cost ₹30 crore to build. It spans 40,000 square feet and can fit over 400 professionals and around 30 companies. This new facility aims to boost aviation business and training in the region.
