Ambati Mounika, daughter of YSRCP leader Ambati Rambabu, accused Guntur West TDP MLA Galla Madhavi of organizing an attack on her home and setting their office on fire. Only women and children were at home during the attack. Mounika told The Hindu a mob armed with iron rods and stones caused panic. "We were terrified. We locked ourselves in the bedrooms," she said. The mob also attacked their office opposite the house and set it ablaze in the evening. Mounika claimed videos and photos prove the TDP MLA was supervising the attack. She added that the MLA’s husband was also present, confirmed by visual evidence. She accused the police of not acting properly and failing to prevent the violence. However, Galla Madhavi rejected the claims. She said she visited Rambabu’s house only to seek an apology for alleged abusive language against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. She denied involvement in the violence, saying it started after she left. Madhavi also denied her husband’s involvement and called the accusations politically motivated. The incident has heightened political tensions in Guntur West as parties trade serious allegations.
