Kerala Forest Officials Arrest Three for Illegal Wild Boar Hunting in Kasaragod

Kerala Forest Department officials arrested three men, Ramakrishnan, Ratheesh, and Rajesh, for illegal hunting in the Bheemanadi-Manchuchal area of Kasaragod. The arrests happened during a Thursday evening inspection by the Bheemanadi forest section. Authorities found a wild boar that was hunted unlawfully, breaking the Wildlife Protection Act. The group had wild boar meat with them. Officials seized a gun and ammunition used in the hunt. The pick-up vehicle used by the group was also taken into custody by the Forest Department.
