The Marian Institute of Management at Marian College, Kuttikkanam, organized a two-day international conference titled “Business Transformation for Sustainability” on February 5 and 6. The event was conducted in collaboration with Kazimierz Wielki University (Poland), Parul University (Gujarat), and St. Aloysius College (Jabalpur). The conference attracted 179 delegates, including 51 international participants from 19 countries. Researchers presented their papers in a hybrid format, combining physical and online sessions. The conference was inaugurated by senior IAS officer Raju Narayana Swamy. Mallika Shankar, Deputy Director of the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), was the guest of honour. Bharat Das, master trainer of the Indian Knowledge Systems initiative under the Ministry of Education, delivered the keynote address. Oey Kok Long, senior lecturer at the University of Malaya, gave a special thematic lecture. Father Bobby Alex Mannamplackal, the college manager, presided over the inaugural session. The event’s valedictory address was delivered by Anil Jaggi, director of Global Peace Foundation of India’s Transformative Technology Network. An international expert talk was given by M.Y. Dwi Hayu Agustini from Soegijapranata Catholic University in Indonesia. A panel discussion moderated by Samson Thomas featured Abraham Francis (Australia), Ramesh P. V. (Dalmia Cements), Aravind Warrier (Volvo), and Aravind P.S. (Threeaar Green Pvt. Ltd.).
