Autopsy Shows Jiang Ge Suffered Multiple Injuries Before Fatal Stabbing in Tokyo Trial
February 7, 2026
The autopsy report on Jiang Ge reveals she suffered five or six defensive injuries before the fatal stab wounds to her neck. Jiang's neck had 11 or 12 stab injuries. This contradicts accused Chen Shifeng's claim that Jiang fell after the first stab and died from loss of blood. Chen told the court that Liu Xin, Jiang's roommate, passed a fruit knife to Jiang before quickly closing the door. Jiang reportedly rang the bell several times, but Liu did not open it. Chen said, "I didn't any motive to kill her when I first stabbed her." He insisted the following nine stabs "had no causal relationship with the first stab." Chen stayed calm throughout the trial. The victim's mother, Jiang Qiulian, who has been in Japan for 30 days, cries bitterly and seeks a death sentence for Chen. Liu Xin will also appear in court as a witness. The trial began Monday in Tokyo and will last seven days. The verdict is expected on December 20. Jiang Ge, 24, was killed outside her apartment over a year ago. She was reportedly attacked by Chen while trying to defend Liu Xin, his former girlfriend. Jiang Qiulian accused Liu of being indifferent to Jiang Ge's sacrifice, stirring online debate.
