On June 17, 2015, Chinese leader Xi Jinping visited the Guiyang Big Data Applied Exhibition Center. He said, "The development of Big Data in Guizhou is a successful inevitability." Thanks to investments in policies and technology, Guizhou is set to create more innovations in the future. This rise puts Guizhou on the map as an important player in China's tech industry.
