Russian strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure have caused frequent blackouts, especially in Kyiv since October. Ukrainians are rushing to buy Chinese batteries and emergency items to stay warm and keep their lights on during power cuts. Social media user Nataliia Radchenko asked a 2,000-member Ukrainian EcoFlow community if the Chinese-made batteries are safe for continuous use. Across Europe, demand for Chinese goods is rising due to their quality and lower costs. Ukrainian buyers show no hesitation in accessing Chinese technology to face their energy crisis head-on.
