King Khalid International Airport will undergo a major terminal reshuffle from February 16 to 25, 2026. Flights of Saudia, flynas, flyadeal, and international carriers will be moved across terminals in a phased manner. The airport calls this the "most extensive operational change in its history." The goal is to ease passenger movement, boost efficiency, and support service upgrades. The shift starts on February 16, when flyadeal international flights departing after midnight will move to Terminal 1. On February 17, Saudia’s international flights departing after 3 am will switch to Terminal 2. February 24 will see a big change: all Saudia domestic flights after midnight and domestic flights of Saudia, flynas, and flyadeal departing after 11 pm will move to Terminal 4. The final phase on February 25 moves foreign international flights leaving after 5 am to Terminal 5. From 7 am onwards, all domestic flights by Saudia, flynas, and flyadeal will be handled only at Terminal 3, now dedicated to domestic travel. Airport officials urge passengers to verify their terminals carefully before travelling. Flight terminals will vary by date, airline, and departure time during the 10-day change. Check-in counters open four hours before departure. Passengers should stay in touch with airlines for the latest updates. This terminal reshuffle is part of a wider modernization plan at King Khalid International Airport. A phased move aims to reduce disruption while building a better experience and efficient operations in the future.
