The wait is finally over! Makers have revealed the first official look of Aryan Khan’s directorial debut series, The Bads of Bollywood. Fans asked Shah Rukh Khan about the release during an Ask SRK session, and Netflix answered today, August 17, by sharing a first look clip.

The excitement is real as the preview is set to release on August 20. Netflix announced on social media, “If it’s getting intense, you should better get used to it.” The Ba***ds Of Bollywood will stream only on Netflix, but the exact release date of the full series remains unconfirmed.

This bold-titled show is already one of the hottest OTT releases of the year, thanks to its gripping story and star-studded cameos. It’s Aryan Khan’s first big project in the film world, where he’s the creator and director. Aryan is teaming up with co-creators and writers Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan.

Produced under Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment, The Bads of Bollywood is the company’s sixth project with Netflix India, following hits like Class of '83 and Betaal.

Also known by its working title Stardom, the series gives a colorful peek into the wild, pressure-packed world of Bollywood. It explores the lives of hopeful actors, backstage dreamers, and industry hustlers, showing the madness, glamour, and big dreams that rule India’s film world.

Shah Rukh Khan himself will make a cameo in the show! He also hinted during the Ask SRK session that many top Bollywood stars have guest roles. Names like Bobby Deol, Ranbir Kapoor, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, and Karan Johar are reportedly making special appearances.

When asked about Aryan’s work, SRK said, “It’s very good,” calling the series “entertaining, wacky, and emotional.” He encouraged everyone to watch and judge for themselves once the series is out.

Aryan Khan’s step into filmmaking is catching eyes not just because of his famous father, but also because he chose to work behind the camera. Unlike Shah Rukh Khan and sister Suhana Khan, Aryan is focusing on writing and directing.
