Unidentified burglars broke into the University of Hyderabad campus on Sunday night and stole 50 laptops from a classroom at the CR Rao Institute. Police said the thieves removed the iron grille of a rear window to get inside the building. Once inside, they entered a classroom holding laptops meant for students’ practical sessions and took them away. Officials found clues at the scene, including a dismantled window grille and tyre marks near the building. These hints suggest the burglars came and escaped in a car. The Gachibowli police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
