In January 2026, Pakistan’s sales of cars, pickups, vans, and SUVs reached 23,055 units. This is the highest monthly number in 43 months. For the first seven months of fiscal year 2026 (7MFY26), the total sales hit 111,377 units, up 43% from 77,686 units in 7MFY25.
Myesha Sohail from Topline Securities said, "The sharp month-on-month surge was largely driven by new-year registrations, as customers typically delay deliveries to secure January registrations for better resale value." The strong yearly growth was helped by new market players, lower interest rates, easing inflation, and improving economic conditions.
