PML-N Leader's House Attacked with Hand Grenades in Bajaur

Late Tuesday night, unidentified assailants threw hand grenades at the house of PML-N leader Nawabzada Waheeduddin Khan in Bajaur district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The attack happened around 1:30 am at Waheed's residence on the outskirts of Khar tehsil, damaging the main gate. Police quickly dispatched a team to search for the attackers. No group has claimed responsibility yet. Shahabuddin Khan, PML-N provincial senior vice-president and Waheed's brother, condemned the attack on his official Facebook page. He said, "Thanks to Allah that no loss of life was reported in the attack," and urged the government and law enforcement to conduct a swift inquiry. Waheed was not at home during the incident and confirmed his family is safe. The police are investigating the motive and those responsible.
