Bomb Threat Found on IndiGo Flight to Shillong at Kolkata Airport

On February 14, 2026, an IndiGo aircraft flying to Shillong was moved to the isolation bay at Kolkata airport after a bomb threat note was found. The handwritten note was discovered inside the plane's lavatory by a crew member before passengers boarded flight 6E 7304. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) confirmed that the aircraft is being thoroughly searched, but no explosives have been found so far. "The aircraft has been moved to the isolation bay, and all precautionary measures as per standard operating procedure are being taken," said an AAI spokesperson. The situation remains under close watch as security teams ensure passenger safety.
