A gangster was arrested after a short gunfight with police in Peerawali village, police said on Saturday, February 14, 2026. Pawan alias Musa was hit by a bullet in his leg during the encounter and taken to the civil hospital. Police acted on a tip-off and raided the area on Friday night. When Pawan saw the police, he fired at them. Two police officers' bulletproof jackets stopped the bullets. Police returned fire and wounded Pawan. He has more than 25 cases against him in Hisar and other places for various crimes. Police also seized the weapon used in the crime from him.
