Tourism Australia reported that total spending by Chinese tourists reached A$12.3 billion (US$8.7 billion) for the year ending September 2025. Nick Henderson, Tourism Australia's regional general manager for Greater China, highlighted wine tours, Melbourne's cafe culture, and the Sydney Fish Market as key attractions boosting interest.
