A special team led by Mysuru Tahsildar K.M. Mahesh Kumar removed encroachment on 6.10 acres of government land in Survey No. 4 at Kurubarahalli village in Kasaba Hobli, Mysuru. The operation followed orders from senior authorities and involved revenue officials and urban land survey teams. The encroachment was cleared and the land formally returned to government control, according to the Tahsildar's official note. This move came after Krishnaraja MLA T.S. Srivatsa raised concerns over illegal fencing on the land at K.C. Layout near Chamundi's foothills. The MLA claimed the area was marked as part of a lake on official maps and demanded the clearance of encroachments within 48 hours. The swift response ensured the land is now secure under government possession.
