Numaish 2026 Ends With Record 22.5 Lakh Visitors in Hyderabad
February 15, 2026
A huge crowd filled the Nampally exhibition grounds on Sunday as the All India Industrial Exhibition 2026, known as Numaish, closed. Visitors of all ages came, from parents with strollers to families with elderly members in wheelchairs. The event attracted about 22.5 lakh visitors this year, a new record, surpassing last year's 20.7 lakh, said B.N. Rajeshwar, secretary of the Exhibition Society. Traffic jams began far from the venue, showing how large the crowd was. Kiran Reddy brought his wife and children to enjoy the last day as a family outing. Many locals follow a tradition of visiting Numaish on the final day despite the crowd. Schoolteacher Seema said, "We come here every year on the last day. Yes, it is extremely crowded, but this is what Numaish feels like." The air was filled with tempting aromas of kebabs, roasted corn, and jalebis, drawing long queues at food stalls. Shopkeepers noted the rush grew stronger in the last two days. Farhan, who runs a Kashmiri clothing stall, said, "There is a mix of customers. Some come looking for discounts while others feel these prices will not be available later and buy without bargaining." The lively atmosphere on the final day showed why Numaish remains a beloved event in Hyderabad.
