A 33-year-old man, Dhurmil Patel, died on Sunday, February 15, 2026, following injuries from a vehicle crash in Mumbai. The accident happened ten days earlier near Somaiya College in Vidyavihar, where a speeding Kia Seltos allegedly driven by a minor hit his scooter. Patel's wife, Minal Patel, who was riding with him, is critically injured. The SUV is said to be owned by the minor's father, Valji Raja Bhushan. Police have registered a case against both the minor and his father at Tilak Nagar police station. The father is booked for allowing an underage person to drive. Police have inspected the site and reviewed CCTV footage to determine the car’s speed and the accident details.
