Cooperation Minister V.N. Vasavan will inaugurate the 41st annual conference of the Mahatma Gandhi University Employees’ Association. The event takes place on the MG University campus on February 17 and 18. K. Radhakrishnan, MP, will open the general session at 10:30 a.m. on February 18. Important figures like P.K. Biju, President of the Confederation of University Employees’ Organizations, Kerala, and T.R. Raghunathan, Vice President of the CITU State committee, will attend. According to an official statement, the conference will focus on the critical challenges facing higher education, especially those related to MG University. The group also criticized the proposed National Education Administration Bill by the Union Government. This bill is currently under review by the Joint Parliamentary Committee.
