On Monday, February 16, 2026, Canal Road bustled with devotees for the annual Rathotsavam festival, marking the close of Mahasivaratri. The event showcased a grand chariot procession carrying the deities Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy, Sri Bhramaramba Malleswara Swamy, and Vasanta Mallikarjuna Swamy. Chanting “Om Namah Shivaya,” devotees pulled the ornately decorated chariot toward the Vinayaka temple, expressing deep faith and community spirit.
