Savannah Guthrie, TV anchor on NBC's Today show, has made a new plea for information about her missing mother, Nancy Guthrie. In an Instagram video, Savannah said, “you’re not lost or alone” and “it is never too late to do the right thing.” She asked those who have her mother or know her whereabouts to come forward. Her mother, 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, has been missing for two weeks now. The search has reached day 15. Authorities found a glove two miles from Nancy’s home. The FBI said the glove matched those worn by a man seen on surveillance video on the night Nancy disappeared. The glove had an unknown man’s DNA, which will be put into a crime database and possibly commercial genealogy databases if no match is found. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department is leading the investigation but has not made new updates since Friday. They believe Nancy is still alive. There have been no arrests. Former FBI agent Nicole Parker, speaking to Fox News, questioned if Nancy's disappearance was an abduction. But Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos ruled out theories like a burglary gone wrong. Nanos defended Nancy’s son-in-law, Tommaso Cioni, who was the last to see Nancy alive, telling the Daily Mail, “you’re putting a mark on somebody who could be completely innocent. And more important than that, he’s family.” He added, “People out there can get pretty ugly and mean and nasty and not have the facts.” Former President Donald Trump praised Parker’s interview on social media. Savannah Guthrie, who is stepping away from NBC’s morning show, remains hopeful: “It’s been two weeks since our mom was taken. And I just wanted to come on and say that we still have hope. And we still believe.”
