Special Cell Dives Deep into Red Fort Blast Mystery; Arrests Loom!
November 16, 2025
The mysterious car blast near Delhi’s iconic Red Fort has taken a spicier twist! The special cell of Delhi Police has registered a new FIR to dig out a deeper conspiracy behind this chilling attack. This fresh FIR includes sections on criminal conspiracy, and big arrests are expected soon.
This blast was no ordinary bang. Intelligence sources revealed that the explosion was so strong it shook the ground near Red Fort, causing a tremor inside the nearby Red Fort metro station. New CCTV clips showed goods rattling on carts and panicked commuters rushing for safety — a scene of chaos and fear!
Experts who examined samples from the blast site are still studying the bomb’s nature. But police say Umar Un Nabi, who was driving the car when it exploded, might have used military-grade explosives. Sleuths studied new CCTV footage tracking Umar’s movements. On the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, he stopped by a roadside eatery but didn’t eat and instead slept in his car. On blast day, he had tea near Wazirpur shop but stayed quiet, not talking to anyone, a cop revealed.
Meanwhile, the investigation zooms into Haryana’s Nuh district—once called Mewat. Two doctors from this area were detained for questioning after police found suspicious phone numbers linked to terror suspects. One doctor studied in China and interned at Al-Falah University, recently attended a job interview in Delhi. Both doctors had ties to Al-Falah, raising eyebrows.
This district has been buzzing with police raids. Five suspects, including three doctors, a fertiliser vendor, and an imam, were recently picked up from Nuh. Agencies suspect ammonium nitrate, a key explosive ingredient, was bought from here. Umar and his doctor friend Muzammil were often traced to Mewat.
The probe revealed an intriguing 'doctor module' using secret spy tricks. They used a shared email account to draft messages without sending them — the reader would log in, read, and delete drafts to erase digital footprints. They also used the Threema app, which works without phone numbers or emails, and possibly a private server to share maps and secret locations.
With these clues, Delhi Police's special cell is hot on the trail. Will more arrests stir the pot? The city watches closely as the thrilling investigation unfolds.
