Bomb Threats Shake Delhi Courts and CRPF Schools, But All Clear After Intense Security Sweeps
November 19, 2025
Early Tuesday morning, the heart of Delhi shook with sudden bomb threats targeting not just one, but three major court complexes – Rohini, Saket, and Patiala House. As if that wasn't enough, two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) schools in Prashant Vihar and Dwarka also got scary calls about planted bombs. Security officers rushed in, turning the places upside down in panic and serious inspection.
Court proceedings at these complexes came to a sudden halt. Bomb disposal squads were called in to sniff out any explosives. Officials revealed these threats came through emails claiming bombs were placed in the court areas early morning. This created quite a stir, especially at Patiala House Courts where security was already high. The National Investigation Agency was gearing up to present Jasir Bilal Wani — an accused in the Red Fort blast case — making the timing of these threats even more chilling.
But the suspense didn’t last long. After two long hours of careful, detailed searching, officials declared all clear; "nothing suspicious was found," they said. Delhi Bar Association president Nagendra Kumar told The Hindu that the security race didn’t stop immediately, as agencies kept combing every corner to keep everyone safe.
Meanwhile, the drama at CRPF schools added more weight to the morning’s chaos. A mysterious man called the police and blurted out that bombs lurked inside CRPF schools in Prashant Vihar and Dwarka. Panic struck again as schools were evacuated in a flash. Yet, after the thorough hunt, no bombs surfaced there either.
The man who made the call disappeared into thin air — his phone went dead right after the threat, and no trace was found at his home. Police are still hot on his trail to understand why he tried to spark this mess.
The day’s events remind us how quick fear can ripple through our city's nerves, but thanks to the brave security forces and their sharp eyes, what seemed like a disaster turned out to be a false alarm. Yet, the question nags on: who wanted to stir trouble by frightening our courts and schools so? Only time will tell.
