Dubai RTA Rolls Out Free Parking & Longer Metro Hours for Eid Al Etihad Holiday
November 28, 2025
Dubai is buzzing with excitement this Eid Al Etihad holiday! The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has great news for residents and visitors. From November 30 to December 2, city travel gets easier and cheaper. How, you ask? The RTA is offering free public parking across Dubai during these three days, so you can park without paying a penny! Just remember, multi-storey car parks and Al Khail Gate N-365 still charge normal fees.
But that’s not all! Dubai Metro and Tram services are stretching their hours to keep you connected. On Saturday, November 29, the Metro runs from 5:00 am till 1:00 am next day. On Sunday, it starts at 8:00 am, still running late into the night, and from Monday to Tuesday, it’s back to early mornings till around midnight. The Tram follows a similar pattern, opening early and closing late so you can travel anytime during your holiday fun.
Passengers using buses and marine transport, don’t forget to check the S’hail app! The RTA recommends it for schedule updates on December 1 and 2 so you can plan your trips without hiccups.
Customer service fans, note this: The regular Customer Happiness Centres will take a break on December 1 and 2, but the Smart Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Twar, and RTA Headquarters stay open 24/7 for your digital needs. Service Provider Centres will be closed during the holiday but open again from December 3.
This whole plan is like a masterstroke from the RTA to keep Dubai moving smoothly this Eid. With free parking, extended metro and tram timings, plus smart customer services, you’re set for a hassle-free, masaledar holiday travel experience! So, get ready, plan your journey on the S’hail app, and dive into the festivities without worrying about transport troubles!
