Telangana Congress MPs are set to raise major pending issues of the state in the Winter Session of Parliament starting Monday. Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy said the focus will be on projects like Regional Ring Road (RRR), Regional Ring Rail, Musi River Rejuvenation, and demands for airports in Warangal, Kothagudem, and Peddapalli. MPs will seek approval for new railway routes and central financial sanctions too. Reddy stated, "With only 15 sittings, we will coordinate with all opposition parties to ensure Telangana’s issues and national concerns are strongly raised." They will also bring up national matters including irregularities in the Election Commission’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists. The Congress and the INDIA Alliance aim to push for electoral reforms and will oppose the government’s priority legislation. The Winter Session provides a critical platform for these MPs to highlight Telangana’s development needs and broader election-related reforms.
