Ajay Devgn to Build Film City, Telangana Signs Key Tourism Deals at Global Summit
December 1, 2025
Telangana is gearing up for the Telangana Rising Global Summit at Bharat Future City on December 8 and 9. Two major agreements will be signed. Indian film star Ajay Devgn will partner with the Telangana government to set up a world-class film city in Hyderabad. Earlier, he had expressed his interest in this project to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
Another big deal is with the Vantara animal rescue and rehabilitation centre from the Reliance Group. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to build a wildlife conservatory and a night safari in Telangana. This will boost the state’s tourism scene significantly.
Also, Foodlink F&B Holdings will invest ₹3,000 crore to develop an integrated global convention centre or Expo Centre along with three hotels at Bharat Future City. This is part of Telangana’s plan to build a net-zero, world-class city.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s plans focus on Hyderabad’s rapid growth. The city already shines with strong industries like IT, Pharma, and Aerospace, plus excellent infrastructure and a cosmopolitan culture. Upcoming projects include Metro Rail expansion, the Bharat Future City, the Bullet Train, and the Regional Ring Road (RRR).
While the summit is mainly to showcase Telangana’s vision for the next 22 years, many companies have shown strong interest through these agreements. The state looks set for amazing growth, powered by big investments and bold partnerships.
