57 Teams Battle in 48-Hour National Hackathon at BLDE Institute Vijayapura

BLDE Institute Vachana Pitamaha Dr. P.G. Halakatti Engineering and Technology College in Vijayapura hosted a 48-hour national hackathon. The event took place on Friday and Saturday, engaging 57 teams totaling 200 students. They demonstrated strong technical skills and innovative ideas by creating real problem-based models.
The hackathon was inaugurated by Principal Manjunath P. and Vice-Principal P.V. Malaji. Principal Manjunath said, "Events like the hackathon are beneficial for students in bringing out their latent talents and instilling a competitive spirit."
NAIN Coordinator R.D. Salagar, Professor and Head of the Computer Science (AIML) Department Sumangala Biradar, and Head of the ISE Department Daneshwari Noola attended the program. Judges praised the teams for their innovative solutions and gave prizes and certificates to the best performers.
Participants and organizers noted that the event helped develop entrepreneurship, teamwork, and problem-solving skills among students. The program was successfully coordinated by Vishwanath Chikkareddy and Somashekar Dhanyal, according to a release.
