Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Jual Oram expressed strong confidence in tribal youth's ability to succeed everywhere. He said that Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) will be built up like Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Kendriya Vidyalayas, and Sainik Schools. Oram spoke at the inauguration of Udbhav-2025, the 6th national EMRS cultural and literary festival at KL Deemed-to-be University near Mangalagiri in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh. He said students should not only excel in studies but also preserve their rich culture and traditions. He emphasized learning Hindi, English, regional languages, and mother tongue. He applauded Andhra Pradesh for hosting the event successfully. Minister for Tribal Welfare Sandhya Rani called Udbhav-2025 a "platform for transformation." She explained the goal is to find young talent, build confidence, and encourage cultural learning. She said 1,647 students from 405 EMRS schools across India, including 110 from Andhra Pradesh, are participating. Sandhya Rani praised Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for his dedication to tribal welfare. She urged the central government to approve more EMRS schools, increase funding, and improve road access to remote tribal areas.
