HMDA Nets ₹3,078 Crore From Kokapet Neopolis Plot Auction, Hits Record ₹151.25 Crore per Acre
December 4, 2025
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has generated ₹3,078 crore from auctioning plots in the Neopolis layout at Kokapet. The highest price achieved was a record ₹151.25 crore per acre. Along with plots in the Golden Mile layout, HMDA expects total revenue of around ₹5,000 crore from four auction phases. On December 3, the third phase of auctions saw one Neopolis plot bought by Yula Constructions LLP and Globus Infracon LLP for ₹131 crore per acre. Another plot went to Brigade Enterprises Limited for ₹118 crore per acre, marking the end of Neopolis auctions this cycle. While these prices are lower than earlier phases, the overall impact is significant. The average price per acre in Neopolis stands at ₹137.36 crore, down slightly from ₹142.83 crore previously but still a huge 87% rise from ₹73 crore two years ago. The fourth auction phase will take place on December 5 at the Golden Mile layout. HMDA is keen to keep up the momentum from these strong land sales.
