Nearly 40 domestic flights of Indigo Airlines to and from Kochi airport, Kerala, remain delayed or cancelled, marking the second day of disruption. Kochi airport issued a travel advisory on December 4, 2025, advising passengers to confirm flight details with their airlines. The advisory said, "Certain domestic airlines are currently experiencing operational constraints, affecting services nationwide. CIAL (Cochin International Airport Limited) is in continuous coordination with airline operations teams to support passengers and ensure smooth functioning of airport services." Airport sources said it will take time before normal services resume. A travel agent noted that Indigo’s website was "slow," making service access difficult. Indigo had cancelled at least 200 flights and delayed many others by up to 12 hours nationwide on December 3, 2025, due to pilot scheduling problems and cabin crew no-shows in Mumbai. These disruptions have pushed up domestic airfares significantly.
