Aahwahan Foundation, along with BDO Rise Pvt. Ltd., launched its annual Happiness Kit Programme in Hyderabad on Thursday. The programme will provide educational supplies to more than 10,000 underprivileged children across India. Hyderabad’s launch marks the start of the nationwide roll-out, with over 1,000 local students receiving kits. The Happiness Kit Programme has worked in states like Karnataka, Noida, Delhi, West Bengal, Odisha, Kerala, and Punjab. It helps families by providing all school materials needed for a full academic year. Each kit includes notebooks, pens, pencils, colours, geometry boxes, school bags, sweaters, water bottles, tiffin boxes, and more. Senior leaders from Aahwahan Foundation and BDO Rise attended the event. Braja Kishore Pradhan, Founder and CEO of Aahwahan Foundation, said, "Every child carries a dream and no dream should fade due to a lack of basic tools." The Director of BDO Rise also encouraged the students at the launch. This programme aims to ease the financial load on struggling families and ensure children have what they need for school success.
