IndiGo flight cancellations caused a wedding reception to go virtual in Hubballi on December 3, 2025. Newlyweds Medha Ksheersagar and Sangam Das were stuck in Bhubaneswar and could not fly to Hubballi on time. Their December 2 flight was delayed and then cancelled. Attempts to find other flights failed as they were also cancelled. Over 1,400 km away, the couple had no other transport options to reach the venue. Many family members missed the reception too. The bride's parents arranged a virtual reception. The couple joined through video call while around 650 guests enjoyed the feast and sent blessings. Anilkumar Ksheersagar, bride's father, said, "We were disappointed on learning about the flight cancellation." He added they planned to fly from Visakhapatnam but that flight was cancelled too. "At 4 a.m. on the day, we decided to hold it virtually. We had prepared food for 700 guests and kept the news secret until 1 p.m. Then we explained and asked guests to bless the couple online," he recalled. Guests were sad but happy to see the couple on screen and send their good wishes.
