IndiGo faced more flight cancellations on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Chennai airport. However, some flights did take off after 3 a.m. These included flights to Pune, Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Bhubaneswar, Jaipur, Coimbatore, and Kochi. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) said by 10:30 a.m., 48 IndiGo flights scheduled from Chennai were cancelled. Destinations affected include Guwahati, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Coimbatore, Bengaluru, Port Blair, Lucknow, Visakhapatnam, Kolkata, Patna, Kochi, and Thiruvananthapuram. A source said, "An updated list of flights which will depart from the airport has been given by the airline to the CISF [Central Industrial Security Force] and AAI. Only passengers of those flights are allowed inside the terminal." The situation caused delays but some services continued to operate.
