The Passing Out Parade of the sixth batch of Agniveervayu Trainees (AGVT) intake 02/2025 took place at the Airmen Training School (ATS) in Belagavi on Saturday. A total of 1,264 men and women Agniveervayus successfully completed 22 weeks of demanding training. The parade was led by Air Vice-Marshal Venkat T. Mare, Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Training), Indian Air Force. He praised the precision, discipline and dedication shown by the trainees. Air Vice-Marshal Mare also congratulated the trainees and gave trophies to the top performers. AGVT Ashish Gurjar and AGVT Neeraj were named ‘Best in Academics’. AGVT Rihanshu Nathawat earned ‘Best in General Service Training’. AGVT Kumavat Vivek Govardhan was the ‘Best Marksman’. AGVT Priyanshu Singh was awarded ‘Best all-rounder’. The Air Vice-Marshal urged the trainees to stay vigilant, adaptable and dedicated. He said, “Be ready to take on all tasks assigned to you with dedication, devotion and keep your mind open to acquire new professional skills.” He stressed the need to continuously learn and stay mission-ready in an ever-changing global security environment. Families of the Agniveervayus attended the event and watched the impressive parade. The Air Vice-Marshal thanked the parents for their strong support, calling them vital in shaping future air warriors.
