The Solapur Division of Central Railway has started special weekend trains between Pune and Bengaluru to manage heavy passenger traffic. The trains will run via Solapur, Kalaburagi, and Guntakal. Train No. 01413 departs Pune at 7 p.m. on December 6 and reaches KSR Bengaluru at 11:15 a.m. next day. Return Train No. 01414 leaves KSR Bengaluru at 1 p.m. on December 7 and arrives Pune by 5 a.m. the next morning. These trains stop at Daund, Solapur, Kalaburagi, Wadi, Guntakal, Dharmavaram, Yelahanka, and Bengaluru Cantonment. They have 16 AC three-tier coaches and two generator brake vans. Another pair, Train No. 06263 leaves Bengaluru at 7:30 p.m. on December 7, reaching Pune at 2:30 p.m. on December 8. Train No. 06264 departs Pune at 3:30 p.m. on December 8 and arrives at Bengaluru Cantonment by 9:30 a.m. next day. These trains run via Daund, Kurduvadi, Solapur, Kalaburagi, Shahabad, Yadgir, Krishna, Raichur, Manthralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, Hindupur, and Yelahanka. Coaches include AC II-tier, AC III-tier, sleeper, and general second class. Tickets can be booked at computerised counters, online on www.irctc.co.in, or through the UTS mobile app for unreserved seats. Passengers are advised to check timings on the NTES app or enquiry portals.
